Roadmap For NDA
NDA Preparation Roadmap
A clear, honest path – whether you're starting early, juggling JEE, or just finished 12th. Every tip comes from experience; use what fits your timeline.
Moving from 10th to 11th or 11th to 12th
You have time – use it to build a strong foundation.
- NCERTs are your best friend – UPSC often picks direct questions from them.
- Cover Science (PCB) from 9th-10th NCERTs; then move to 11th-12th Maths, History, Geography, Polity & Economics NCERTs.
- Find a reliable English YouTube channel and practice daily.
- Current affairs should become a habit – follow a daily news digest.
- Read English newspapers and extra books to build stamina.
- Mocks and PYQs (Pathfinder is a good starting point).

For JEE Aspirants (NDA as Backup)
You're probably reading this between December and early April – the window is tight, but you have an edge.
- Maths – your JEE preparation is more than enough; just revise.
- Physics & Chemistry are already strong – for Biology, watch a good one-shot lecture.
- English, History, Geography, Polity – one-shot videos work best now.
- Take as many full-length mocks as possible to adapt to the NDA pattern.

Just Gave 12th Exam
You're short on time – but focused effort can still get you there.
- Prioritize one-shot videos for every subject (don't get into heavy books now).
- Revise only the high-weightage maths topics (calculus, algebra, vectors).
- Mocks are non-negotiable – solve at least one full paper every two days.
- Analyze mistakes and brush up on GK & current affairs through compilations.
